Pottery Class Information

Beginner Students  

Beginning students will learn to throw on the potter's wheel, hand-building, design, and simple glaze techniques. Students will receive individualized instruction and be challenged on optional special group projects. Each class will begin with a brief demonstration followed by students working on their own with the guidance on the instructor. Open lab practice throughout the week is included and encouraged.

Intermediate and Advanced Students

Intermediate and advanced students will continue their work with emphasis placed on individual techniques and skill levels. Students will receive individualized instruction and be challenged on optional special group projects that the class chooses. Each class will begin with a brief demonstration followed by students working on their own with the guidance of the instructor. Open lab practice is included and encouraged.
